How to use our mockups

Every mockup is a layered Photoshop file with smart objects. Place your design in a few clicks — the light, shadows and texture stay photographic.

Watch the walkthrough

  1. Download and unzip

    Get your files from My Account → Downloads and unzip the folder. Each scene is its own PSD file.

  2. Open the PSD in Photoshop

    Open the mockup in Adobe Photoshop CC. Find the layer marked as a smart object, usually named “Your Design Here”.

  3. Edit the smart object

    Double-click the smart object’s thumbnail. A new window opens with the artwork canvas.

  4. Place your design

    Paste or drag your artwork in, scale it to fill the canvas, then save with Ctrl / ⌘ + S and close the window.

  5. Adjust colors and backgrounds

    Where the previews show variants, use the color and background layers to match your brand.

  6. Export

    Go to File → Export → Export As and save a JPG or PNG, ready for your portfolio, client deck or social posts.

Good to know

  • Use high-resolution artwork. Match or exceed the smart object’s canvas size for the sharpest result.
  • Keep the original file. Save your edited version under a new name so you can always start fresh.
  • Fonts missing? Text layers in previews are placeholders — replace them with your own fonts.
